During this holiday season, ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ students have an opportunity to be paid while giving back.

ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥â€™s Academic & Career Advising is reminding students who are awarded federal work study funds can earn $13 per hour for their community service.

If students are unsure of how to give back this holiday season, ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ suggests the following volunteer opportunities:

  • Holiday Carriage Rides (Fayetteville History Museum): Friday, Nov. 29, 12:45-6 p.m.
  • Holiday Lights in the Garden (Cape Fear Botanical Garden): Dec. 5-23, 4:30-10 p.m.
  • Jingle 5K (Girls on the Run, Armstrong Elementary School): Saturday, Dec. 7, Time TBD
  • Christmas Parade (Fayetteville Rotary Club): Saturday, Dec. 14, 7:30 a.m.

The University recommends students reach out to [email protected] to ensure eligibility and to receive the necessary paperwork for the opportunity.
