Which Evansville-area high school basketball players have Division I offers?

EVANSVILLE ֱ The high school basketball season has been in the books for months. But this sport never stops.

Eyes have already turned to next season with June playing an important role not just for teams but individual players. Specifically, it's a key point for recruiting with college coaches having multiple weekends to watch in person.

A handful of Southwestern Indiana players could have an opportunity to play Division I basketball in the upcoming years. Here are those with current D-I offers. This list will be updated with any changes or commitments.

Ella Bobe, South Knox

Offers: Southern Indiana

The senior guard is already the Spartans' all-time leading scorer with 1,175 career points. Averaged 19.1 points on 54 percent shooting, 4.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.3ֱsteals last winter. Underlcass Small School All-State selection.

The 6-0 forward showed promise in her freshman season. Averaged 10.5 points and 5.2 rebounds and shot 39 percent (27 for 70) from deep for the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference champions.

London Gilley, Washington

Offers: Evansville

The 5-10 sophomore has breakout potential. Missed the beginning of last season with an injury but averaged 2.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 14 games for the sectional champions.

The 6-6 junior was limited by a knee injury at times last season but possesses high athleticism. Averaged 7.3 points and 4.4 rebounds.

Offers: TCU, Missouri, Arizona State, Illinois, Southern Indiana, Evansville

The 6-7 sophomore is ranked fourth in the Class of 2027 by ESPN. Averaged 15.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists for the Panthers and was selected to the IBCA Futures All-Star Game. His first offer, Evansville, came in eighth grade.

The recruitment for the 6-2 junior has taken off since April. Averaged 13.2 points and 6.3 rebounds on 45 percent shooting for the sectional champions with the ability to hit behind the arc. A three-sport standout including volleyball and softball.

Offers: Southern Indiana, Toledo, Bowling Green, Evansville

The 6-1 sophomore played a vital role in the Titans' state championship season. Averaged 9.8 points and 6.3 rebounds but increased those to 13.4 and 9.1, respectively, in the state tournament. Shot 54 percent from the floor as a freshman and was named to the IBCA Futures All-Star Game.

Bentley Shelton, Harrison

Offers: St. Bonaventure

The 6-5 junior received his first Division I offer on June 15. Played limited minutes off the bench for the sectional champions ֱ 1.3 points in 15 games ֱ but figures to be a key player this winter for the Warriors.

The 6-1 junior has become one of the top players in Southern Indiana. Averaged 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds while being named SIAC and Courier & Press Metro Player of the Year. Set the program record for points (493) and blocks (61) in a single season.

Finalists: Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue

The 4-star recruit, ranked No. 74 in the Class of 2025 by 247ֱ, had around a dozen offers but announced his top five on June 21. The Patriots' all-time leading scorer averaged 24.2 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists. Has set official visits to Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame and Michigan State this fall.

Sisley announced on July 1 he will transfer to Montverde Academy for his senior season.

One of the top Class of 2025 players in the state . Averaged 19.3 points, 5.9 assists and 5.0 rebounds for the state champions. The 5-9 guard was the Courier & Press All-SW Indiana Player of the Year and selected to the Indiana Junior All-Star team. Her other offers were Robert Morris, Bellarmine, Evansville, Purdue Fort Wayne, Southern Indiana and Bradley.
